Why do we run self-care courses?
As a company committed to engagement and the quality of conversation we have in organisations or with consumers and communities, we’ve noticed that the missing element is the conversations and care we have for our ourselves. Not only is this a missing element, it is the limiting factor for everything else.
Our vitality influences our capacity to be engaged and to engage anyone or anything else. In short, your energy levels changes how you think about life, your energy levels changes how you respond to people or any task, change or issue that is in front of you.
Yet, in environments where we are increasingly being asked to do more with less, finding ways to build a deeper foundation of self-care has become critical. This course is does not promote a specific diet, product or provide medical advice, its focus is to;
- Explore the micro choices we make each day and the cumulative impact they have
- Identify where the real drain in our energy comes from in our day
- Using the gentle breath meditation to create more space in your day
- Understand how we can establish self-care as our foundation for productive, vital lives
The content is drawn from lived experience as a 'self care' practitioner in the presenters own life and a background in natural therapies, community services and counselling. This course has been put together to make self care eminently practical and meaningful for different people in a range of contexts.
The popular half day course, is offered as both in-house and as public training. One day course are also available.
